Kerry-Lee Finkle
Kerry-Lee Finkle is an Actor and Producer known for the feature film, Downsizing directed by Alexander Payne. She works with the Deaf/ ASL Community to help empower them in the film and television industry by advocating for more Deaf actors to be hired and for Ryders to be instated for persons of all abilities. Kerry-Lee is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and has worked on many sets as the Communications/ Access Facilitator when Productions hire Deaf talent.
Kerry-Lee was born in Toronto, Ontario and started acting at a young age in the local theatre troupe called "The Jesters". She continued her studies in theatre in high school and did her post-secondary studies with a double major in Dramatic Arts and English at McMaster University.
Kerry-Lee is known as a character actress and comedian. She did stand up comedy on the Yuk Yuks stage in Hamilton, Ontario in the late 1980s. In 1992, Kerry-Lee furthered her studies becoming a teacher specializing in educating Deaf and Hard of Hearing students and special education teaching dramatic arts and English through American Sign Language.
