Alex Montaldo
Alex Montaldo is an actor based in New York and Los Angeles. He was drawn to acting and music through his love of make believe and his fascination with invented personas like David Bowie's, and he has tried to take on very varied roles in order to explore these. His formal studies began in 2008, when he was offered a full scholarship in acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute, Conservatory Program in New York City. Most recently, Alex played the role of Corvus in the Thriller-Horror film 'The Seeding', directed by Barnaby Clay. The Seeding is having its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, 2023 and will be distributed by XYZ Films. Alex has acted in numerous theater productions in New York City and Los Angeles; most recently, he played the lead role in 'Misterman' by Enda Walsh, and 'Shadow Boxing' by James Gaddas (streaming as part of the New York based United Solo Festival). Alex's TV credits include 'Modern Love', 'One Dollar', 'Mr.Robot'. Alex's music can be found on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and all major streaming platforms, under the pseudonym of LYNX. Alex is an avid tennis player, kayaker and boxer as well as a regular fixture on Santa Monica beach volleyball courts. He co-founded stoPD (support and training to overcome Parkinson's disease), a bi-coastal non-profit organization that provides physical training, art programs and support for people with Parkinson's. Alex is a staunch advocate for animal rights.
