An alumnus of the NYFA (NEW YORK FILM ACADEMY), Sebastian has accumulated experience of 16 years in the realm of films and filming. He started his career with ANIMAL PLANET Channel working in THAILAND. He worked as integral part of a project working on wildlife in the PHUKET RAINFOREST region of Thailand, many kilometers away from civilization. Being a passionate movie lover, it was not long before he decided to venture into the "film industry". He returned to India and started his "efforts" to break into the Telugu Film Industry. As a result, he made many friends and developed acquaintances. Consequently, he joined the RUDRAMADEVI team as an ASSISTANT DIRECTOR. He worked with the film maestro RAJAMOULI as his Assistant for PART-1! It was a huge learning experience. The sheer scale of the film was daunting but the experience of having worked on it was most rewarding. Apart from learning the "craft" of filmmaking, there were opportunities there to learn so much more; crowd control and management; capturing en-mass performances; mounting panoramic shots; prop procurement and management; co-coordinating with the ART department; STAR management; data management and scheduling; budgeting; learning the essentials of continuity and sequencing and above all People Management and Time Management. It was also after the completion of BAHUBALI PART-1, that he involved himself in the "DISTRIBUTION" of the film. Mr. SAI KORRAPATI of VARAAHI CHALANA CHITRAM, who distributed both the parts, having observed Sebastian during the filming, made him a part of his distribution team. Sebastian, therefore, got the unique opportunity to work on the Distribution end of the business with one of the Biggest distribution houses in the south. And very soon he has become the face of Vaaraahi.
