Mahendra Vaswani was born and bought up in Mumbai, in a Sindhi business family. He did his schooling from Greenlawns School, Worli and his bachelors-in-commerce from H. R. College, Churchgate. As a child, he loved being on stage and acting in front of an audience. He participated in many society plays as an actor and director. He recited heroic and divine stories from the lives of the Ten Sikh Gurus to family and friends. He acted and won the best actor's award in inter-house school plays at Greenlawns and performed at Sophia's Auditorium. As he was always inclined to the arts and creativity, he took up animation and VFX as a career and has been doing that since 1996. He started his professional acting career in 2019 after doing a workshop with Prof Dalip Sondhi from SDDS, Australia and thereafter did theatre with Mahesh Dattani and Brinda Shankar's group Playpen for a year. He started with cameos in serials and web-series after various rounds of auditions. Has done a workshop in Chhau dance, an Eric Morris acting workshop with Indriyaan Theatre Group, a Voice Modulation workshop with Karwan Theatre Group, Mumbai and a Method Acting workshop with the Method Acting Academy, Mumbai. Has acted in the web-series Trial by Fire, Criminal Justice 2, Aarya 2, Scam 1992, Bravehearts: Shooter Jawan, Dil Bekaraar. Has done commercials for Jio 5g, VIVO, GOI's Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, AMFI with Sachin Tendulkar, Pushp Masale with Ajay Devgn, Kwality Walls with Kajol, Beyond Skool with Boman Irani, Godrej Refrigerators, Bombay Sweet Shop, ONE Pidilite, TATA Mutual Funds, TATA Tea Kanan Devan, Apple M1, Airtel-HDFC, GoIbibo, KBC Promo, Everest HD Boards, Azar App. Unreleased Projects Webseries - Old Boy, Revenge with Raveena Tandon, Jane the Virgin with Jaaved Jaffrey, Sonali Kulkarni and Shweta Basu Prasad and Ranneeti with Jimmy Shergill.
