Casey Metcalfe
Diversity actor Casey Metcalfe began his acting career with Joey Travolta's Actors for Autism in 2004 in Los Angeles where he was one of the featured characters in the award-winning documentary, Kids with Cameras, 2009, directed by Alex Rotaru. Casey joined New England Youth Theatre, a regional playhouse, in 2008 when he relocated to Vermont from Los Angeles. He began in the theatre company's diversity program but quickly segued to the main stage, playing major roles in Playboy of the Western World (Philly Cullen), Little Women (Grandfather Lawrence), The Tempest (King Alonzo), Seussical, Junior (Mayor of Whoville), etc. In 2013, Casey also did a character study of Shakespeare King Henry V, as a member of the Young Shakespeare Players, also in Vermont. He left New England Youth Theatre in 2015 to attend the University of Vermont in Burlington. In 2021, Casey was cast as Marlon in the Gold Circle/Focus Features film Champions, directed by Bobby Farrelly and starring Woody Harrelson and Kaitlin Olson.
