A young Japanese woman who holds the key to stopping the evil spirit of Kayako, travels to the haunted Chicago apartment from the sequel, to stop the curse of Kayako once and for all.

The devious spirits created after the Saeki family was murdered still haunt the people and claim their victims. Aubrey, Karen's sister, goes to Tokyo to save Karen from the clutches of the evil spirit.
