Todstham Piumsomboon
Todd or known officially as Todstham Piumsomboon was born in Bangkok, Thailand and moved to study and live in Christchurch, New Zealand since the age of 7 years old. He is the 2nd child of Dr. Purachai Piumsomboon and Mrs. Somsri Piumsomboon. Prior to moving to New Zealand, Todstham has appeared in several advertisements and magazines as a child. His claim to fame was when he was 13 years old and appeared on a popular television showed called: Jok Jai in Thailand as a guest appearance due to his dad being the Minister of Interior at that time. He received several recognition due to his good answers at such a young age.
When he was 15 he appeared in more television programs each summer he returned to Thailand during his holiday. At the tender age of 20, he became the main television host to a popular program called, "English Club" and at the age of 22, after he had completed his University degree, he return to Thailand to fulfill his dreams of being a TV host. He audition and won the role as the main host of "Good Afternoon", which made him renown all over Thailand. After his success in "English Club" and Good "Afternoon", more and more television programs hired him to be their leading host such as "Good Morning", "ASEAN Insight", "Living in Style", "English for ASEAN". Todstham is recognized for his fluent accent in English and therefore worked as a bilingual TV host (Thai and English).
His success on television earn him the spotlight to be the guest appearance of several other TV programs such as "Luang Lub UPLOAD", "English Breakfast","Entertainment TODAY".
In 2011, Todstham, the son of Dr.Purachai Piumsomboon, a famous politician, enrolled into the Airforce Military for 6 months. He was able to filmed his TV shows during the weekends and returned to base during the weekdays. In this year Todstham dated a famous Thai singer but further information were undisclosed.
In 2012, Todstham became a professional bilingual event host and also a motivational speaker. He also continued his work as a bilingual television host and was also a producer and writer for "English Club"
He has won several awards including "Asia's best television quiz program 2012" awarded to "Good Afternoon".
In 2013, Todstham became extremely successful as a bilingual television and event host. He also filmed many advertisements and was training to be a news anchor for NBT's Newsline. However, after 5 months he dropped out due to other priorities, which during that time he won the role as "Tiwa" in the Movie "Pernicious"(2014).
