Anam Tanveer
Anam Tanveer is a well known actor from Pakistan. Born and raised in Karachi she has a decade of experience in acting. She was passionate about art from childhood and won many art competitions in school life. She later did her Bachelors in Sociology and then earned an MBA degree in Marketing from SZABIST. Joined the media industry from hosting a political show 'Yeah Faisila Hai' as she was a fresh entrant with new ideas hence a suitable candidate to host a show for PTV in 2011 with her co-host, veteran actor and writer Khaled Anam. She has also co-hosted a few episodes of a children show Dum Dum De De from PTV. Since then she has been a part of the Showbiz Industry and has appeared in many significant dramas and whichever role she has been assigned she did it beautifully and has hence gained popularity among local and international audiences. Her best performances can be seen in Noor-e-Zindegi, 'Do Bol', Jaleibi (sitcom), Mera Dil Mera Dushman, Raaz-e-Ulfat, and Benaam etc.
In 2019 she became a household name by playing Shaheena as a lead antagonist in Mera Dil Mera Dushman. It would not be wrong if we say it has been one of her best performances to date after Do Bol and Raaz-e-Ulfat. She has been nominated for Viewers Choice Award for Mera Dil Mera Dushman as Favorite Actress in a role of Bhabi 2021, and Best Supporting Actress for playing Gul-e-Ara in Noor-e-Zindegi in IPPA prestige awards London, 2017. She has also represented herself in many international shows as a show stopper.
She has also been awarded as Youth Icon of the year award from Youth Parliament of Pakistan, 2016, and Rising Star award by 2nd Pakistan Excellence Awards, 2018
