Charles Rasmussen
Charles is a stage, screen and voice actor born and raised by a single mother in Chicago. As an actor, he first earned recognition professionally for his work with six-time Emmy winner Rory Karpf in the independent short film "Marbles." He's since starred in a number of award winning independent films and projects as well as the Bollywood Blockbuster "Dhoom 3."
In addition to acting, Charles has an accomplished resume behind the camera with numerous production credits in TV, Film and Advertising.
Charles has a successful career as an advertising executive, leading marketing efforts for blue-chip brands such as Kellogg's, Whirlpool, LEGO and McDonald's.
Long before his professional life began, as soon as he could hold a crayon, Charles has been immersed in the arts. He even had his work displayed at the Art Institute of Chicago at the age of ten. As a young child, Charles got his first taste of the stage by performing magic. Later, while attending Chicago's prestigious Francis W. Parker school, he had brushes with performing again in productions of the Odyssey, Oliver and Hamlet among others.
Charles attended Boston University and continued taking acting classes, while pursuing his degree. He later trained at notable institutions such as Act One Studios, the Annoyance, the Chicago Acting Studio, iO Chicago and the Second City.
When he's not performing or behind the camera, Charles spends most of his time painting.
