Mason Thames
Mason was born on July 10, 2007. He started acting at 11 years old but his love of performing started at an early age while studying ballet. Mason was selected to perform with a professional International ballet company where he toured with the company for four years as the youngest cast member.
In 2019, AppleTV+ offered him the recurring role of Danny Stevens in the AppleTV+ original series For All Mankind.
In 2020 he booked the role of Robbie Knievel opposite Milo Ventimiglia (This Is Us, Gilmore Girls) who will play Evel Knievel in the limited series Evel. Due to COVID 19, production was put on hold.
In 2022, he is starring in Universal Pictures, The Black Phone due in theaters June 24, 2022. Mason stars alongside 4x Oscar nominee Ethan Hawke. He portrays Finney Blake a shy but clever 13-year-old boy who's being held in a soundproof basement by a sadistic, masked killer (played by Hawke). When a disconnected phone on the wall starts to ring, he soon discovers that he can hear the voices of the murderer's previous victims - and they are dead set on making sure that what happened to them doesn't happen to Finney. The Black Phone, Directed by Scott Derrickson (Doctor Strange, Sinister, The Exorcism of Emily Rose). Blumhouse/Universal Pictures feature film, executive produced by Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions. The film also stars Jeremy Davies, Madeline McGraw and James Ransone. The Black Phone is a story by Joe Hill who is an executive producer for the film. The Black Phone was Adapted by Derrickson and C.Robert Cargill (Doctor Strange, Sinister). Filming wrapped in 2021. Universal Pictures set June 24, 2022 for the worldwide theatrical summer release.
In 2022, Mason stars in Boys of Summer as Noah Reed, opposite Oscar winning actor and director Mel Gibson, the two will star in the coming of age adventure-thriller directed by David Henrie (Wizards of Waverly Place, This Is The Year). The movie centers on Noah Reed who seeks the help from a detective (Gibson) to solve a mystery on Martha's Vineyard. Boys of Summer is written by Cornelius Uliano and Brian Schulz. Cast also stars Lorraine Bracco, Nora Zehetner.
