Dee Gee is an actor first, director second, writer third, manager fourth and finally, a positive human. Dee Gee is also also a dragon boat rower, volleyball player, occasional dancer and media person; the list goes on and on. He has tried to exploit every creative opportunity he possibly could so far. Since September 12th, 1992, he have been thrust into the world's fastest growing city, Dubai. Growing up, he was fortunate enough to develop his social skills among people from over ten different cultures. It's amazing to see how two people who look alike, can have such different backgrounds and experiences. This helped him to become a chameleon and to understand, and relate, to different kinds of people. Sport was his forte but he was never satisfied with himself. He wanted to do more. Dee Gee first tried acting at the age of 14. In fact, his first ever role on stage was playing an Indian transsexual for which he had to dawn a "saree" on stage. Since that moment, he has had a beautiful relationship with theatre; or perhaps just with the art of acting. Dee Gee and acting have been together for many years now and have never looked back, always looking forward. He is a certified level 5 LAMDA actor in the 88 percentile. He also holds a beginner level certificate in Screen Acting; trained by Alex Broun. He has also completed a master class crash course from "Screenwise"; trained by Denise Roberts. As of January 1, 2018, Dee Gee has acted in 9 plays, 9 films; has directed 2 plays and a short film, written a multi award winning short play and 2 short films. He was the recipient of the 'Lifetime Achievement Award & Outstanding Contribution Award' from Heriot Watt University, Dubai. He was nominated for "Best Actor" for his portrayal of "Leonard Ganz" in the play "Rumours" which was written by Neil Simon at the community theatre awards in Dubai, U.A.E conducted by H72 Productions.
