Moishe Teichman
To date, Moishe is known for Feature length films, They Dream, Sinsters, Porter, Delinquent, The Matter of Ronnie Goldblatt, other feature lengths, MOW's, episodic, Festival winning short films, co written two feature length screenplays plus VO's in both Film and Radio.
He was a full time, Fine Art Programs at both Ryerson, Toronto and Emily Carr, Vancouver, and a five year member in North Vancouver's Burstin with Broadway Choir.
Moishe has ability for unique characters, often portraying Professors, Psychiatrists, Mentors, Men of Religion plus a variety of Antagonists. Dr. Moishe Kugelman, world renown "pseudo" psychiatrist, Phd., twin brother Cardinal Moses Kugelman, Head of the Vancouver Archdioces and cousin Greybeard Kugelman, Rock Legend are ongoing developing comedic characters. He practices Yiddish near daily
Moishe's parents are Ethel Guttmann and Samuel Teichman. Long term partner is Lynne Spalding. He has two siblings, Miriam and Joe. He does not celebrate his own birthday but instead gives his to Lynne, who looks great at 139 years young.
Arthur Murray (Moishe Teichman b 1895), of American Ballroom Dance fame and Actor Edward G. Robinson (Sara, nee Guttmann, Mother) are distant relatives. When bearded, Mandy Patinkin and Moishe could pass for brothers.
