Michael Nardelli
Actor, writer, director and producer, Michael Nardelli, can currently be seen starring in the sci-fi thriller Amazon Prime series, Dark/Web, which was recently nominated for 7 Emmys, including Outstanding Digital Series.
Michael made his professional acting debut as Stradivarius Helberg on the television show Quintuplets. He then co-starred in the independent film The Derby Stallion opposite Zac Efron and the comedy Grassroots, with Jason Biggs. Soon after, Michael portrayed a lovesick teenager in the 3D horror thriller "The Collection" and has recurred on various television shows including My Name is Earl, CSI: New York, The Client List, The Mob Doctor, Revenge, Nashville, Hart of Dixie, and American Crime Story: The People VS OJ Simpson.
In 2010, Michael established himself as an indie film producer. Films include Another Happy Day, where he also acted opposite Ezra Miller, Kate Bosworth and Demi Moore. It won the Waldo Salt Award for Best Screenplay at the 27th Sundance Film Festival. Michael went on to produce the romantic comedy, The Giant Mechanical Man, starring Jenna Fischer and Chris Messina. That film débuted at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Michael produced and starred in Circle, co-starring Julie Benz and Carter Jenkins. Film focuses on fifty strangers who are held captive. They face their imminent executions and are forced to choose the one person among them who deserves to live. The film first premiered at the 2015 Seattle International Film Festival and was highlighted as part of their Catalyst program for exciting new filmmaker's. Circle also screened at 2015's San Diego Comic Con and The Savannah Film Festival. It was purchased by Netflix and distributed worldwide by the service in the Fall of 2015 and has subsequently become a cult-hit.
Michael exercised his multi-hyphenate abilities on the Emmy-Winning Amazon Prime TV series Dark/Web, his unique anthology-hybrid concept that he created with Circle colleagues Mario Miscione and brother, Tim Nardelli. Series premiered at Entertainment Weekly and SCAD's prestigious aTV fest in 2019. Dark/Web was also invited to have an official panel at San Diego Comic-Con last summer, the same day it premiered on Amazon Prime. Nardelli received three Emmy nominations for his work on the show, including Outstanding Directing, as well as Outstanding Digital Series for his work as producer on the show.
Forthcoming, Nardelli is producing The Girl Who Conned the Ivy League with director/producer McG and Amanda Seyfried attached to star. He has a role in the upcoming fraternity-hazing expose film, Pledged. He's just completed the screenplay for his next major project iKnow How You Feel, a feature that he will produce later this year.
Michael is a self-proclaimed Sci-Fi, Comic Book and gamer nerd. When he is not working, he loves to be involved with the PATH Organization, Autism Speaks, the Boys and Girls Club of Boyle Heights, NCJW LA, and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. Michael received his Bachelor's Degree in Film and Theater from USC.
