James Preston Rogers
James Preston Rogers was born to Sandra Doreen Mary (Preston) Rogers and Robert Rogers in Toronto, Ontario.
After booking his first commercial without an agent or headshot, James set his sights on performing.
James was approached by the WWE just as the acting roles started coming in. He had just gotten the role of Bjorn in Outlander (2007) opposite Ron Perlman & Jim Caviesel, Sea Change (2007) opposite Tom Selleck, and an independent feature "Poker Nights", James went to Houston & Atlanta to training camp for the WWE. After 4 months, James realized that acting was his true calling. After the WWE graciously released him from his contact, James returned to Toronto and was offered a role in the miniseries ZOS: Zone Of Separation (2008).
James stands out in a crowd, literally and figuratively. Standing 6' 5" hulking, muscle, James has formed lasting bonds with Ron Perlman, Donnie Wahlberg, and Aidan Devine. James left Tom Selleck with such an impression, that Tom selected the scene with James and spoke of him during an interview on 'Live with Regis & Kelly'.
