ABOUT THE DIRECTOR Sukhminder Dhanjal is a reputed name in Punjabi Cinema emerges with great hopes. An electrical engineer by trade came to Mumbai three decades back with a dream of becoming a film director. Here he learned the language of cinema by assisting to some of the reputed director of Bollywood and South India. In 2007 he has got recognition and somewhat media coverage when his second film " BAGHI" got National Award for best Punjabi feature film in which "OM PURI" was in a pivotal role. He always tries to put his head and soul in any project assigned to him. His aim to make good commercial films with lot of entertainment and certain message also. Because he is an engineer ,he is capable of accepting modern techniques of digital cinema with ease. He belongs to a reputed writers' family of Punjab that's why he he has read international literature at very young age. His five films in Punjabi 1. Mela 2. Baghi 3. Lagda Ishq Ho Gaya 4. Kabaddi once Again 5. Blackia have been released till now. His latest film "BLACKIA" is a blockbuster of 2019. He just completed his latest film " NISHANA" with prominent star cast of Pollywood. He is the man driven by passion who wants to make a mark in international cinema.
