Bill Barrett
Bill was born and raised in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. Growing up, he found his love for movies and sports. Bill played baseball at the University of Illinois where he majored in Business Management and Marketing. After college, he worked as a District Manager for Aldi foods, before moving to Atlanta to pursue one of his passions, golf. While pursuing golf professionally, Bill was discovered by photographer Mike Colletta while serving tables at a local Carrabba's. That encounter began his modeling career, which introduced him to acting. Bill had quickly booked a role in an Ang Lee film, Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk. After that experience, he knew he didn't want any other career. He participated in any film he could to gain experience and to learn anything he could about acting. He took one class after another at The Robert Mello Studio, to help him learn the tools he needed to perfect his craft. Bill had worked his way up, and was cast in a new Tyler Perry series, The Oval, where his character is now a series regular. If Bill isn't spending his time on acting, you can find him working on perfecting his golf game.
