Jim Thalman
A native of Manhattan's west-side neighborhood, better known as Hell's Kitchen. Jim spent the early years of his career at Herbert Berghoff Studios in Greenwich Village, Going to work on Equity stages, with a concentrated focus on the Modern American Classics, Steinbeck, Saroyan, Miller, Odets, Tennessee Williams etc...
In 2001 Jim received two different Best Actor Nominations for his work on Eugene Ionesco's 'Rhinoceros", the famed allegory of Hitler's control of the Vichey Government. That same year Jim received a Best Supporting Actor Nomination for his portrayal of a fast Talking Grifter in Brit Playwright Richard Lay's American Premiere of "Sweet Butterfly On An Alligator's Lip".
In subsequent years, Jim has been fortunate enough to star in such Award Winning Productions as "The Secret Under The Rose", "Nessun Dorma", "The Poker Lesson" & "Necropolis".
Jim resides in NYC, where he is grateful to have found a working balance between Film & Stage. He sits on the Board of Directors for HExTC, a multi-media company that produces original content for Stage, Film, TV, Talk Radio & Web.
