John Murphy
John Murphy is a Vancouver actor, director, writer, composer and producer of film/TV and theatre.
In TV, John has played series regulars on Sabrina and Away, and guest star roles on Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Arrow, Loudermilk and The Good Doctor. Two of his favorite projects were co-starring with Bradley Whitford on the limited series Valley of the Boom, and guest starring with Uzo Aduba and Matthew Broderick on Painkiller.
Some of his favorite movies include A Babysitter's Guide to Monster Hunting and Cats and Dogs 3.

John has appeared in over a hundred plays, directed twenty-eight and written three. He has worked extensively for Bard on the Beach, Vancouver's celebrated Shakespeare festival, where he played iconic roles like Benedick, Petruchio and Jaques, and adapted/directed Measure for Measure and Much Ado About Nothing.
He has been nominated for four Jessie Awards (Vancouver's Tonys) for acting. His directing and composing work has been nominated several times and he won the Jessie for Best New Play for True Story.
