Samantha Beaulieu

Samantha Beaulieu is an actress, writer, director, and former radio host who hails from The Big Easy. Born and raised in New Orleans, Samantha's acting career began in Hollywood in 2003 when she booked a starring role after her very first film audition. Since then, Samantha has costarred in blockbuster movies such as Unhinged (2020); The Secret: Dare to Dream (2020); Bad Moms (2016); Now You See Me (2013); 9th Ward Justice (2016) and Big Momma's House 2 (2006) to name a few. In the television world, Samantha recently Guest Starred on the popular series Leverage: Redemption (IMBD TV), and has had recurring roles on critically acclaimed Queen Sugar (OWN); NCIS New Orleans (CBS); Tyler Perry's The Oval (BET); and Treme' (HBO). Costar credits include Preacher (AMC); Underground (WGN/Hulu); American Horror Story: Coven (FX); and Eastbound and Down (HBO). On stage, Samantha portrayed Superhero Harriet Tubman - yes, Harriet Tubman was a Superhero before Superheroes existed - in the NOLA Project's acclaimed production of Harry and the Thief by Sigrid Gilmer at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans (2019). Other stage credits include Mojo: A Black Love Story by Alice Childress (2017); A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry (2009), for which Samantha won Gambit's Big Easy Theatre Award in 2010 for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama for her portrayal of Ruth Younger; The Big Negro (2011); Ceremonies in Dark Old Men (2009); and The Madwoman of Chaillot (2015). When she's not in front of the camera or treading the boards, Samantha gets pleasure behind the scenes running Tape My Audition NOLA, a professional audition-taping service for the working actor. Samantha also enjoys gardening, swimming, "kicking it" with family and friends, brainstorming screenplay ideas, shooting short films, and basically, creating.
