Sam Milby
The Philippines' 'Rockcoustic Heartthrob', Sam Milby is an established actor and multi-awarded singer who is one of the few homegrown actors to venture into Hollywood while maintaining a successful career in the Philippines.
From being just another Pinoy Big Brother housemate, the Filipino-American looker has eclipsed even his own popularity with sold-out concerts and Platinum albums, top-rating TV soaps (including Maging Sino Ka Man with John Lloyd Cruz, Bea Alonzo and Anne Curtis, which launched his career as a dramatic television actor), blockbuster movies and big product endorsements to his name.
His fan following is loyal and solid, and consists of various fan groups that stretch from the Philippines to countries around the globe.
The previous years stand to be even more awesome for Sam, who headlined the romantic comedy "Kahit Konting Pagtingin," opposite Angeline Quinto and also starring Paulo Avelino, on ABS-CBN. He starred in his first antagonist role as Eros in the dark melodrama "Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala" with Kc Concepcion & Judy Ann Santos. Sam also finished "Death March", his fourth independently-produced film (Cannes Film Festival entry) and received good reviews for his action scenes in "Kimmy Dora Ang Kiyemeng Prequel".
Sam also starred in the primetime summer fantaserye, "Dyesebel" with Anne Curtis, Gerald Anderson, Andi Eigenmann. He also headlined in "The Gifted" under Viva Films with Anne Curtis & Cristine Reyes.
Sam will also be bringing his talent overseas, as he prepares to release another solo album, with the album to be marketed in other Asian countries.
