Anna McKitrick
Anna McKitrick grew up in central New Jersey and lived in south Germany for part of her childhood. She wanted to be an actress since before she could talk and would wake up at 3 am to take the earliest train into New York City to wait in line for Shakespeare in the Park tickets.
When she was 16, she went to Oxford to study Shakespeare at the British American Drama Academy. The next year, she spent the summer at the Public Theater's summer conservatory. Immediately after graduating from Red Bank Catholic High School in Red Bank, New Jersey, she moved to New York to pursue acting full time.
She is best known for her role in The Little Things (2021) where she played opposite Denzel Washington, Rami Malek, and Jared Leto, directed by John Lee Hancock. You can also find her in the short film Pieces of Belmar (2015) directed by Emmy Award Winner Zack Morrison, among other films, television, dozens of commercials, and the occasional summer theater festival in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. She has been a long time student of Larry Moss.
She was the founder of The Monologue Group, a monthly play-reading and monologue group where actors read plays and perform a monologue of a particular theme each month.
In her spare time, she liked to surf, compete in the occasional triathlon, skate, cook, go on spontaneous vacations, ride on the back of her boyfriend's bike, volunteer at animal sanctuaries, and bike with her father.
She speaks English, German, and Spanish.
