Christina was born in Guangzhou, China and immigrated to the U.S. at the age of one and grew up in Rowland Heights, CA. Her love of performing began at the young age of four, seizing any opportunity to be onstage. Where there wasn't a stage, she would makeshift her own. Spending much of her after-school hours at her dad's garment factory in Chinatown, she would flip over a tub, stand on it, and sing "Happy Birthday" to the dozens of workers there. She played piano for 11 years and started taking acting classes, auditioning, and involving herself in high school theater productions. However, it wasn't until after graduating from USC that she decided to make the leap and pursue acting seriously.
Christina has a B.A. in Communication from the University of Southern California. She speaks Cantonese and some Spanish.
