Scott McCord
Scott McCord is a versatile actor known for his boundless character work in a career that has spanned over three decades in theatre, film, television, music, radio and animation. He is a Lifetime Member of The Actors Studio.
Scott can be seen in one of this year's most anticipated television events - the contemporary sci-fi horror series From (Epix/Netflix 2022), produced by The Russo brothers and the executive producing team from LOST. In a nightmarish town in middle America that traps everyone who enters, Scott plays Victor, one of the town's mysterious residents. He is a recurring guest on the fourth and final season of the hit anthology series The Sinner (USA/Netflix 2022) with Bill Pullman playing villain Verne Novak.
Previous television credits include - The Blacklist, FBI, Jupiter's Legacy, The Deuce, Carter, Hemlock Grove, Lost Girl, Murdoch Mysteries. He played researcher James Joy in the CTV Gemini Award-winning investigative journalism drama The Eleventh Hour for three seasons.
In film, Scott will be seen next in a lead role in the award winning indie crime drama East of Middle West (2022) playing Bill, a small time crook who harbors a criminal runaway and takes them under his wing. Previous film work includes the psychological horror Blood Honey, standout character roles in Shoot 'Em Up (New Line) opposite Paul Giamatti and 16 Blocks (Warner Brothers) opposite Bruce Willis.
As an award-winning voice-actor (Canada Screens Award, Best Performance in an Animated Series) he is best known for his roles as Owen and Trent in the popular Total Drama Island series, Dan Kuso in Bakugan Battle Brawlers, and Jake in Paw Patrol. Other notable series include - Ruby Gloom, Yin! Yang! Yo!, Camp Lakebottom, Mother Up!, Inspector Gadget and Hotel Transylvania the Series. He voiced various characters in the animated features The Nut Job and the upcoming Charlotte, as well as playing Mike Pence in the award-winning podcast series The Oval Office Tapes directed by R.J. Cutler (Billie Eilish - The World's A Little Blurry). Scott has been a featured guest at Armegeddon Expo (Australia, New Zealand) and Toronto's Fan Expo and Comicon.
Recent theatre credits include The Private Theatre's Rocco Chelsea Adriana... directed by John Gold Rubin, Capture Bound Escape with the Collective Theatre NY, and the two-hander The Head Hunter for which he received two NY independent theatre award nominations and one win.
An accomplished singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, he has released two albums - Blues For Sunshine and Scott McCord and the Bonafide Truth. Both albums received stellar reviews and generous radio play internationally.
Now based in Brooklyn, NY, Scott is continuing to study, perform and collaborate in theatre, film and television. Spring 2018 saw the workshop production of The Final Reel, that Scott co-created and performed with Parallel Exit, a New York, Drama Desk nominated physical theatre company. He is co-producing and starring in the short film Passing (2022) and is writing and developing We Might Fall Apart, an original play about a band of aging musicians reuniting in their hometown after one of their original members takes their life.
He became a Lifetime Member of The Actors Studio in 2018.
