Eric Rolland
Eric's a trained, experienced actor - excellent on camera and on stage. Noted for his compelling portrayal of J.P. Morgan in the Emmy winning, global phenomenon The Men Who Built America, Eric returned to Gilded Age America as Thomas Edison in National Geographic's American Genius: Edison vs Tesla.
In 2016, Eric will be seen as notorious Union Pacific boss Thomas 'Doc' Durant in Robert Redford's Untitled West Project for AMC and play a key role in revving up American Speed: The True Story of NASCAR for CMT.
On stage, Eric recently toured Europe for 11 months in a sensational sell-out staging of the Broadway classic West Side Story. A veteran of leading roles and supporting characters in contemporary comedies and classic dramas, he's done Shakespeare, Mamet, Marber, and McPherson, musicals and Ayckbourn and played parts as varied as Sherlock Holmes, Felix Ungar and the Duke of Venice.
He's worked with likes of Danny Woodburn, Robert Cuccioli, Davis McCallum and Mike Cahill and trained with noted coaches Bob Krakower, Michael Cumpsty, Sean Durkin and Katie Bull.
Eric's training includes On Camera technique, Shakespeare, Meisner, improv, Practical Aesthetics, and vocal production from institutions including Temple University, the Atlantic Acting School, and One On One NYC.
