Patrick Lamont Jr was born on April 29, 1989 in Bronx, New York. He is the oldest of five boys of a teacher mother, Wendy Smith. Patrick was intent on chasing a career in Music as a R&B singer. One of his proudest moments as a teen was getting into the Famous "LaGuardia High School of Music, Arts & Performing Arts" in their music department. However, right after he received his acceptance letter, he also found out his family was Moving out of New York to Silver Springs, MD. Crushed, Patrick still pushed forward and found peace in whatever performance arts he could find in his new city. While in High School, he joined a Boy group named "UNEK" (Pronounced Unique), the group didn't last for long. Patrick caught the Acting Bug his senior year in High school, when he was approached by the Theatre department's teacher/director and asked to audition for a Musical that the school was producing. He Auditioned and Landed one of the Lead roles of the play. After High School, Patrick spent a Year in College at HBCU Howard University. While at Howard He found love in Dance, as he joined the Universities, Hip-Hop Dance Team "VIZION". They performed at several shows and competitions through the year. Patrick just loved the opportunity to be on the stage. After dropping out of College, Patrick focused on maintaining a regular life. He worked and became a manager of every job he's ever held. Though being a manager of different companies had it's benefits, he was never truly fulfilled. Patrick actually thanks Amazing Writer, Director and Producer Ryan Murphy for getting his acting spark. Patrick Loved the Musical Sitcom GLEE. The Music, The stories, the characters, everything about the show excited him. Ryan Murphy, did an Internet search for a new #Gleek "The Glee Project" .Patrick Auditioned and did not make it close to any round or callback, but from the excitement and love he felt from auditioning, he knew that Acting was what his true focus needed to be on. Now in Atlanta, Ga, Patrick has appeared on a few Hit TV Shows, such as STAR on Fox, Black Lightening on CW and Step Up: High Water on YouTube Red. Though all Day Player roles, Patrick knows that they are the start to a fulfilling and successful career. In Atlanta Patrick is best known in the community for his hard work, dedication and his charming personality. He has managed a popular Acting Studio, worked as an assistant to several local Casting Directors, run workshops, Run Tech and DJ's for local filmmaker & networking events, and he runs and operates his own professional Self Taping Service. Patrick also enjoys motivational speaking, he occasionally works with a non-profit that caters to the community youth and holds talents shows year round. As a Host of the shows, he encourages everyone to speak success and greatness into their lives with affirmations, positivity and gratitude. His overall goal in life is to inspire people everywhere to Love themselves and follow their dreams.
