Wesley Kimmel
Wesley James Jack Kimmel (aka Wesley James) was born in Los Angeles, California. His father is writer/director, Jonathan Kimmel and his mother; writer, teacher, and former commercial and music video producer, Carly Hirsch Kimmel. He is the nephew of late night talk show host, Jimmy Kimmel.
A natural on set even before he could walk, Wesley made his first foray into acting as "The Baby Bachelor," a "Bachelor" spoof that originally ran for six episodes as a bit on Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2013.
In 2017 Wesley was cast to play young Barry (Bill Hader's title character) on the hit HBO show, "Barry." In 2018 he booked a role in Steven Soderbergh's "The Laundromat" opposite Meryl Streep and a guest star on ABC's "The Rookie." Forthcoming this year is a role in Joey Alley's debut feature film, "The Hater," and a recurring roll opposite Mae Whitman on Season 3 of NBC's "Good Girls."
In between playing baseball and ice hockey, Wesley has spent the past few years acting in commercials for brands like Natural Choice, Bank of America, Pedigree Dog Food, Intel, Olympic Paint, Sleep Number Mattress and others as well as modeling in print campaigns for Hasbro, Vans, Bedhead Pajamas, Disney, Crazy 8, Gazillion Bubbles, Tonka Trucks, and more.
In addition he continues to hone his craft, training at the Youth Academy of Dramatic Arts, and performing in shows like The Wizard of Oz (as the Scarecrow), CATS, (as Munkastrap), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (as Charlie), Beauty and The Beast (as Lumineer), Aladdin (as the Genie), and Frozen (as Hans). In 2019 he started formal training in Ballet and Tap at The Westside School of Ballet.
